COP21 Obama's Great Green Socioeconomic Blunder

Preventing A Green Economy

The Cumulative Damage
Of Embracing Wholly Contrived
Urban Socioeconomic Hatred.

Thus far in urban as well as in rural America here in 2015, we have collectively witnessed little to no economic growth in any industrial sector. In fact, since Barack Obama took office seven years ago, economic growth to most companies as well as the people who either work for these companies, or, perhaps, wish they worked for these companies, has been at best, marginal.

Even though there are numerous examples of, in particular, “green industrial innovation as such innovation reflects a wide array of technologies that are fully capable of nourishing truly dynamic green based economic growth, the fact of the matter remains, while these technologies that are, of course, at the cutting edge of our collective capabilities regarding the complete overhaul of all aspects of our nation's industrial infrastructure, in particular, the question of “how”, and, in a much more compelling manner, “when” will all of these remarkable technologies actually become, fully integrated into our nation's whole and constructively happy, mixed energy based and positively green industrial economic model?

Even more compelling is the question “why” after seven years of rambling ass chatter about massive job growth, the Obama administration has simply not produced such job growth at all in any aspect of sustained infrastructure improvement, or, indeed, in any aspect of broad based community economic redevelopment directly associated with such growth in such issues as; transportation modernization, public utility upgrading, the wholesale transformation of residential building trades throughout America, the subsequent transformation and application of progressive building codes, the equal transformation of mortgage lending instruments that address truly advanced property valuation potential on a neighborhood by neighborhood basis, modern property tax valuation models as such models pertain to the professional expansion of our nation's NAICS industrial model, subsequent community based public and private sector industrial education commingling?

The list goes on and on and as it does, the national period of waiting for change on all these levels of progressive 21st century green energy thought sits on the back burner of every American mind that is attached to every able bodied American body as the Obama administration does what?

With the above questions in mind, let me change the subject to focus on the regularly scheduled litany of either mass shootings and killings, white cop black kid shootings, black lives matter rallies, the rights of women to abort pregnancies, the rights of homosexuals to get married in our good old US of A today, the fact that every time an American military veteran calls a VA Hospital anywhere in America, the first recorded message he or she hears is regarding whether or not they might feel like harming themselves or someone else?

Yes, the narrative in the above paragraph will in fact encapsulate entirely Barack Obama's otherwise intended environmental legacy he is promising to leave to America. Every thing else he preaches about does in fact pale in comparison to what in fact he and he alone has manifested for our country for the past too many years with his constant litany of words that describe our nation having tremendous potential only if we admit that every single one of us are actually psychologically disturbed to the point that no one in America is worth more than fifteen dollars an hour if congress passes the minimum wage fantasy he is also proclaiming as his national goal for all of us to attain.

As for what it would take to finally end this perverse national discourse of this hopelessly belligerent and socially insane human dialog would be to entirely defund every social agency that perpetuates the fact that everyone in America needs some form of mental health analysis before the government can produce the regulations required to create a much more constructive conversation on subjects such as a universal rainwater and top soil runoff and containment public utility infrastructure model? A model that can and must be applied to virtually every community in America? And, in doing so create a vast network of private and public sector jobs, none of which require the applicant to undergo a psychological evaluation? None of which requires any person to purchase a carbon credit or to participate in another absolutely useless global climate treaty?

One has to wonder just how on earth this guy walked into the White House to begin with and how after seven years of living there, job growth everywhere else in America but DC mirrors the job creation in wholly underdeveloped third world nations almost entirely.

Do we as a nation really need to become so absolutely humiliated by this confused and self ordained preacher of abstract geopolitical and redundantly theoretical environmental babble?

Do our real American manufacturing corporations really need to be taxed as much as they are just to pay for social programs that lost touch decades ago with the fact that a far more engaged green energy based industrial conversation has been brewing in the minds of every American mind that has been working for these companies for the past forty years? As after forty years of the environmental movement people in general nationwide are fully capable of rebuilding with a very much green industrial thumb, every aspect of our nation's industrial infrastructure and have simply been waiting for people like Obama to finally and once and for all get of their hopelessly abstract environmental stage?

As I myself have been building and retrofitting buildings to make them both highly energy efficient and beautiful, not to mention affordable, my ability to do this anymore is restrained entirely by the fact that cohesive federal (green or otherwise) industrial policy has entirely failed to allow the industries that make the technologies that I would love to add to my buildings affordable if in fact the federal government would stop regulating these industries solely for the purpose of funding research on the long range behavioral tendencies of a transgender oriented rug rat?

Think about this stuff for a while, think about the fact that growth in virtually every industrial sector is being constrained by a population of people who know virtually nothing at all about anything even remotely related to industrial growth. These people consist of psychologists, lawyers, economists, marketing experts, sociologists and a broad host of environmental scientists whose entire focus is on the outcome of human behavior associated with the prolonged use of of all things the very solar collector that is of course, supposed to be integrated into the structural framework of our public electric utility framework rather than the much more tangible measurement of economic growth associated with the installation, use and overall long term industrial function of that collector once that collector is fully integrated into a massive national utility grid broken down into a vast network of regional and neighborhood utility providers all of which if regulated simply for the power they produce as opposed to being regulated for the purpose of paying for needless socioeconomic and behavioral impact studies?

When does America collectively “Bitch Slap” people like Barack Obama, Bill Gates, the Koch Brothers, Hillary and her half wit side kick Bill, Donald Trump, half if not all the nitwits running for president in both parties in 2016 and tell them collectively to stop using the dialogue of contrived domestic socioeconomic hate for no other reason than to keep the people who are supposed to be working from the very green energy company platforms we as a nation have the potential to create so that white cops won't kill black kids, black mothers don't need welfare, well adjusted women across the board in our American society are too busy working to be thinking about misbegotten pregnancies, homosexuals can finally mind there own damned business, American veterans can go off to foreign countries to help build both infrastructure and jobs only after they spend real industrial time at home doing the same?

As governments and international organizations are, according to this link “acting to create favorable conditions for the private sector to get engaged in the development of advanced public utility infrastructure”, the fact of the matter is that the governments and international organizations that are attempting to do so do not necessarily represent the whole of the people nor the industries who in fact would benefit if in fact such infrastructure redevelopment was either universally accepted by all or understood financially by all industrial entities that would stand to benefit substantially if all, as opposed to some of these industrial entities were in fact invited to the whole and dynamic conversation being now only haphazardly had at a fundamentally cloistered and therefore socioeconomically dysfunctional dinner table.

A case in point here is clearly the United States of America where we see firmly established and historically self sustainable industrial entities such as power companies; companies that provide a broad host of environmental technologies to municipalities nationwide that would clearly advance clean water filtration; companies that can actually address the full financial development of the above mentioned storm water management technologies at the beginning of this essay; a broad host of geothermal, natural gas, wind and solar, hydroelectric, communication systems, transportation management systems, all with the same capabilities; construction companies fully capable of implementing a remarkable array new roadway surfaces in either an urban or rural or interstate highway framework; and, of course, an endless variety of other technologies associated with every conceivable building sector from residential remodeling and environmentally dynamic energy retrofits to those industrial sectors that fully retrofit eighty story Chicago skyscrapers, but, the whole thing sits at a standstill due entirely to those with disturbingly disjointed sociological mindsets not to mention competing financial interests and theories on how to perpetually fund themselves and there schools of social insanity, none of which should have any bearing whatsoever on the implementation of all of these technologies into our whole American broad based, mixed energy industrial mainframe. As this industrial mainframe is of course the entire economic foundation of our collective national economy in the first place in every bit the same manner as it is the driver of our proud and psychologically unclouded personal American ability to keep it technologically updated as well as financially solvent, Obama has virtually destroyed our collective ability to do anything at all with any single aspect of that entire industrial mainframe. And, we of course are all completely delusional in our collective insistence that something real must start to happen in our America?

According to Torben Pederson of Pension Denmark, “There is a need for catalyzing new public/private partnerships that can bridge that gap.”

While this is quite true in every industrial country, in America the need is equally apparent if not even more so due to the overwhelming environmental diversity and geographical size of the borders we inhabit in our nation.

Unfortunately these needs are not being met due again almost exclusively to a philosophical divide over the insanely presumed social ramifications of such industrial catalyzing as opposed to the obvious clearly multifaceted industrial opportunity found once such public/private partnerships in America are not established anew but anchored to what in fact is already firmly in place and simply needs major technological updating.

Yes, America has the most advanced industrial infrastructure model in the entire world, and, as it is quite clearly in a serious state of decline, it is opposing political and social ideology that is causing that decline and not at all basic, broad spectrum fundamental industrial economics that should easily enable all these new technologies to naturally flow into out whole American industrial market place unhindered entirely by the abstracts whims of misguided soap box preachers.

The environmentalists, the behavioral psychologists, the vast array of useless government programs that have been built upon the narcissistic ramblings of these groups wanting to achieve hopelessly unimpeachable almost demonic like authority over every aspect of American social life while in the process forgetting entirely the fact that a solar collector and a wind turbine, a geothermal heat pump or a micro hydroelectric energy plant would probably be best served if each and everyone of these green industrial entities were simply a part of the existing public electric utility companies that have kept America running industrially for the past 150 years?

In other words, why invest the time and energy as well as the venture capital to produce a new public utility entity that cannot at all ever hope to create the financial strength and diversity as well as structural integrity of an existing public electric provider? As the only thing these new technologies can in fact do and do significantly better is to serve to greatly improve the obsolescence of the technologies of the original utility, the economic fluidity that comes from doing so within the existing regulatory structure of existing utility companies remains the key to economic success of all entities having anything whatsoever to due with the generation of electric power in the United States of America period.

When one looks at the whole of the structural dynamics associated with blending new electrical generation technologies, and, when one looks at the sheer diversity of those technologies as they must ultimately be applied in a very much regional framework specific to the function of the technology within the context of existing climatic harmony within that region, the solar collector will fit only some places, the wind turbine another. Whereas the wind turbine, and, more specifically vertical axis wind turbines, would work nicely on the north side of Oak Park, Illinois due to that neighborhoods higher elevation and subsequent consistent prevailing wind currents as compared to a good portion of the rest of the City of Chicago, on the south side solar, is quite conceivable for the same set of fundamentally sound and documented structural geographical truths, Whereas then both wind and solar will work in Oak Park, integrating these technologies into the existing electrical grid simply reduces Oak Park's carbon footprint while relieving the systemic strain on the overall utility while in turn promoting the growth of all related industries required to combine the systems, maintain the systems and provide a quite dynamic set of privately owned small to mid sized companies directly and indirectly associated with the “green grid electric utility family” that would exist in Oak Park, Illinois if in fact this type of structural retrofit was accomplished.

Whereas the local Oak Park economy would flourish multi-laterally along with the multi-dimensional diversification of the utility grid, more than likely a far more intimate and multi-dimensional conversation among the people who live in Oak Park would result leading quite naturally to more hands on public and private education models sprouting up, more streamlined public utility rate structures being adopted, property valuation that can now be evaluated for its absolute green public utility framework and, in general, a substantially more fluid socioeconomic environment particularly when one considers that the above mentioned public utility green retrofit is but only one structural element being updated as many more equally dynamic structural elements are being updated as well.

As I have said that I have been building green American houses for more than a few decades, I am currently building one in a south Chicago neighborhood that is no more than four miles from Barack Obama's Hyde Park home. The reason I am sharing this story with you is that again it goes directly to the point that we as a nation have to simply stop the incessant psycho babble that is essentially killing us all in our America today every bit industrially, financially, morally AND ENVIRONMENTALLY.

This house is a modest two story brick Georgian built some time in the 1930's.

It is placed on a 45'x150' city lot in a neighborhood entirely filled with similarly aged homes some being more Georgian's, a few very nice brick Cape Cods, a few brick Craftsman, a few brick French Provincial, a few brick Prairie Style and so on. This neighborhood is an all black neighborhood of very firm and solid middle class families who work for a living or are retired from the Chicago Police Department and Fire Department, a few Cook County Sheriffs Deputies, some blue collar types and some white collar types and so on and so forth. The homes are well kept, the yards are beautiful, the people are friendly and once in a while someone is having some kind of work done on their home.

On this particular home, the vast majority of the thing has been “rethought” as you will.

Due to circumstances I am as of yet not entirely certain about, this “rethought” home was purchased by an investor (probably at a significant discount) for the purpose of refurbishing it, putting the thing back on the market, and, of course, making a profit in the process, all of which, on the surface would suggest that if this home is improved substantially, its value would increase and therefore the value of the surrounding neighborhood would do the same.

Unfortunately, as this home was “rethought” as opposed to redesigned and re-engineered, the casual and haphazard thinking process wholly devoid of the formally structured architectural design process (of which architectural drawings would be utilized to assure that a broad range of modern building processes and technologies were incorporated into the renovation process) upon my arrival on this project, I was met with literally dozens of significantly under par examples of workmanship, numerous Chicago building code violations and a work load that consisted of not only tearing out and redoing a significant portion of this work but applying a set of design standards that would normally be required in such a renovation project if in fact it was redesigned and re-engineered right to begin with.

Along with the realization that things on this project were done extremely poorly came the fact that as the carpenters on this project were unprofessional, they were as well either alcoholics or drug addicts or both and white people as opposed to black people, and, in fact white people (racists) with a considerable amount of animosity towards black people, particularly black people who could afford to invest in a lovely home that once completed would improve the economic value of their all black community as a result.

This is all a very true story and very much relevant to this essay, so pay attention!

At any rate, given both my background as a designer and builder as well as my military experience (proud U. S. Navy veteran), I simply set about the task of removing the original construction crew from the project with the help of a few of the folks who live on the block. Once the project had been cleared of “unfriendlies” , the task of taking out what the original crew left behind began.

As this process required help, over the course of time it took me to figure out all what had been done wrong as well as all of what now needed to be done right, I also began drafting a profile of what kind of worker(s) I would need to help me with the renovation process. As I was doing this, I was as well walking around this all black south Chicago neighborhood in search of my “daily comfort zones”. These are the zones I would end up visiting daily in my search for coffee in the morning as well as lunch in the afternoon (ie: local coffee shops and grocery stores).

On one particular morning early, I was walking to the small grocery store around the corner to get my usual cup of coffee only to run into a young black lady of the age of 32 who, like myself was heading to the store for her morning joe.

The meeting was one of those that can basically be defined as a “cosmic connection meeting”. That is the process of merging a collection of thoughts rolling around inside the mind of one person with thoughts that are virtually identical and rolling around inside the mind of another – all of course, entirely by happenstance or chance. Walking along evaluating what it is we need to accomplish, which is defining a set of goals for our day or our week, and out of the clear blue sky, someone comes along, walks up beside you carrying the same damn shopping list that you have in your hand or in your mind, and is heading in precisely the same direction as yourself, not to a store, but to a destination.

As this is often referred to as “serendipity”, Stephanie walks into my life and immediately starts talking to me about what it is she needs to accomplish for her day in much the same manner as my three daughters (all around Stephanies's age) do the same. While doing so, this young lady was asking me a million questions about the house I was working on which is of course precisely what I was thinking of. With every question she asked, it became quite apparent to me that this young lady with delicate piano playing fingers, had one hell of an understanding about both architecture and construction as well as the human awareness it takes to hang in there and get the job done perfectly.

I hired her immediately and have met someone who is quite clearly going to be in my life for a long time as a result.

But here's the deal.

And, this where and why I say Obama and his good buddy Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel need to be “bitch slapped” because both of them are obsessed with their identity rather than focused on their responsibility.

Stephanie is married (one year), she is on welfare, she has had her share of trials and tribulations. She is out constantly looking for work and because of her overwhelmingly positive energy, finds it, albeit and unfortunately quite sporadically. As she, is, on every level, an optimist born into a time in our America where optimism simply is not enough, her husband sits on his useless black ass all day long and at the age of thirty four waxes philosophically about the future of America in every bit the same manner as Barack Obama does in the White House and Rahm Emanual does in Chicago's city hall without ever even for a minute thinking about the fact that he might just want to go out and get a job to help support his wife financially while in the same breath, producing some sort of a future career blueprint for himself.

I offered him a job. He took the job. He did the job well one day. The next he was distracted. The next day he was distracted and wandered away from the job site entirely. The next day he never showed up. The next day he wandered by and said hi as if we were all sitting outside at a bistro table in front of a Paris cafe. Every day he did this stuff, his wife and I and one other young man were busy working away. No this guy is not doing drugs or drinking.

Stephanie's husband at the tender young age of 34, proudly proclaims that he is the oldest of twelve children. As he expresses his pride, he goes on to virtually worship the ground his “spiritually enlightened” and fully federally funded mother walks on. Being the oldest of twelve, one would think that the responsibility of growing such a large family would quite sincerely enable this guy to find some sense of self worth. Unfortunately, he is simply one of twelve children whose mother had four husbands all of which are simply nowhere to be found today in 2015. Thus without any patriarchal directional sense, the skills this guy actually has to do something that are clearly apparent to me as well as his wife but escape him entirely to the point where his own real identity is constantly masked by the many fake identities, he has had no choice other than adopting these identities due to the fact that he simply has never had any form of fatherly nurturing while living in a culture that has been falsely nurtured for decades by a government that today in our America has essentially bankrupted our nations collective and otherwise natural industrial inventive process while destroying the motivational mindset of far too many young black men in the process.

Stephanie's husband is getting better by the way. None of us have given up on him. But, we have taken his headphones away from him.

Getting back to the building renovation of the south Chicago Georgian I am currently involved with.

As the investors on this project began the renovation process with somewhat of a limited budget, the overall lack of professional project planning required to make total use of that budget has already been expended out to contractors who not only did a terrible job, but have as well required of me to do over what in fact the client had already paid for in the first place meaning that this job at the present time is not going to turn out the way everyone hoped unless something out of the ordinary comes along. In this particular case it is just a few more sets of volunteer elbows that have a little grease attached to them.

Whereas what I am describing here is not new and in fact there are countless examples of homeowners across Chicago being screwed by such unprofessional conduct, in a nutshell the root cause of that conduct in Chicago as well as throughout Illinois can be traced directly to the much larger fact that virtually every time anyone improves the value of their property by spending their money on their own home their taxes go up to pay for the support of among many other needless government functions the mother of multiple children fathered by multiple men while living in a wholly unimproved ghetto neighborhood on the south side or west side of Chicago or in any of a host of both white and black ghetto towns spread across both urban and rural communities throughout the state of Illinois. With this ceaseless form of government based socioeconomic punishment based taxation for overwhelmingly useless economic outcome, the green technologies that could be coming into the state of Illinois and serving to expand substantially its own industrial base go off to other states instead leaving in the process, virtually no financial capacity to simply slow down sociologically for a moment and actually map out the clearly dynamic legislative models that would support the universal application of green infrastructure into every existing public utility model in the first place.

An example again would be to look at the economic potential of applying full rainwater management technologies to the entire block and neighborhood where this Georgian style home in south Chicago exists.

In doing this and doing so with the proactive regulatory based knowledge framework that any form of rainwater management is and therefore must remain a basic part of the much broader water and sewer municipal services provided by a public government entity, any gadget, device, vessel, trough, pipe, etc. having anything whatsoever to do with coming in contact with rainwater should simply have attached to that device a taxing mechanism utilized to constantly upgrade all aspects of the rainwater system for decades into the future while in turn, fund continuing education associated with the constant reeducation of both the consumer and the workforce utilizing that whole rainwater system.

In other words, if you are a homeowner wanting to install a simple rain barrel at the bottom of a downspout attached to a long run of gutter attached to your south Chicago Georgian style home, the moment you commit to doing so, you will as well become a part of the community education narrative about rainwater sponsored by you city's water department and a broad host of private sector manufacturers of every conceivable device associated with a psychologically stable, carbon neutral drop of rain. It's that simple and it is that dynamic and all you have to do to get involved is go down to the neighborhood community center to find out how.

Don't forget your umbrella if it's raining!

On the subject of rain, there is another subject of sun.

Again, on this particular project there is solar electric generating potential both atop the roof of our Georgian project home, but, more specifically atop the roofs of several homes within this neighborhood and even more specifically, the overall land mass within the approximate ¾ square mile radius this area is located in.

Thus as the home has potential for solar gain and the homes in the neighborhood can most certainly contribute to the solar grid within the area, due to the nature of this geographical hot spot, a larger solar farm is most certainly not out of the question when considering the commingling of electrical generation systems that can be clearly adapted to this geographical region of Chicago in every bit the same manner as Oak Park, Illinois has the same land mass adaptability. None of which can possibly occur if any single electrical generation entity is not included into the overall economic and regulatory blueprint associated with that grid in that specific micro electrical generation region.

Within the context of this south Chicago geographical hot spot then is the potential for a host of residential design and construction start up companies as well as commercial/agricultural startups all of whom can justify their financial growth capability as such a capability pertains again to very much green and very much geographically justified residential as well as commercial solar energy add on companies that are not necessarily active solar energy, but passive in nature.

To grasp what it is I am about to tell you next, I want you to board CTA bus J14 across the street from the Art Institute Of Chicago located at 111 South Michigan Avenue.

This bus, also called “The Jeffrey Jump”, takes you from the heart of downtown Chicago all the way south past Hyde Park, the University of Chicago, a host of other great museums, sports facilities and convention venues that thrive along Chicago's Lake Shore Drive and finally ending up in the neighborhoods of south Chicago most people really don't want to talk about.

Driving along Lake Shore Drive on this bus, one gets the full impact of the beauty of Lake Michigan while also getting a rather breath taking education as to why they call Chicago The Windy City.

At any rate, at the far south intersection of 67th Street and Lake Shore Drive sits a small marina that has roughly 100 slips that dock mostly sail boats. At this same point, the Lake Michigan shore line takes a rather abrupt turn south east as the lake winds itself towards the northwestern boarder of Indiana. As it does so, the land south of the marina begins to rise in elevation creating in the process a very much womb like environment that is essentially filled with windless and warm “geographical heat sink air”. As this area is the area in which I am working and in which active electrical generating solar technologies have such potential, passive solar technology in particular has a rather unique opportunity to sustain itself economically here as well.

In the form of attached residential greenhouses that would most certainly add a unique architectural character to the modest south Chicago homes built in this area, in turn, due to the slight increase in consistent seasonal temperatures and the overall lack of wind, commercial greenhouses do as well have the potential to sprout up in areas that now hold either boarded up commercial buildings or altogether vacant and economically dormant industrial sights.

Whereas decades ago this south Chicago area was more or less a left over from the trendier artsy scene farther north on Lake Shore Drive, as it was a left over of a former fossil fuel powered industrial century that socially said that going any farther than 67th street would simply be unfashionable, today and with the remarkable growth in a vast array of green energy technologies and truly advanced energy conservation based building products, the potential for the growth of the passive solar industries within this area is enormous as is the agricultural product or horticultural product that again has such a unique opportunity to flourish here as well, but, again not if all the public infrastructure serving this area is not redesigned and re-engineered from within the clearly much more regulatory dynamic of holistic infrastructure based, industrial and economic commingling.

As one specific aspect of that infrastructure is very much transportation based and specifically public transportation based, indeed “The Jeffrey Jump” as well as “The Green Line” both of which currently are under utilized in terms of serving primarily as a transportation mechanism for working class south Chicagoan's, with the inoculation of an entirely new agricultural based industrial sector that is significantly green, these public transit lines would simply be used more by both an emerging new regional business traveler as well as an emerging new tourist destination, restaurant and shop crowd, lodging industry start ups, and, of course, a broad host of arts and entertainment venues, all of which extend Chicago's already culturally rich lake front experience as well as Chicago's overall long range mixed energy based 21st century sustainable business development model.

In turn, a new generation of light industrial mixed energy powered fleet vehicles would emerge whereas new highway improvement models that are actually capable of being funded would do so as well.

What is geographically unique to this particular area of south Chicago then is its combined environmental, industrial, economic and human potential. If one can consider the educational dynamic capable of being executed simply by elevating the overall regulatory grasp of rainwater management not only in this area but throughout Chicago, as such rainwater management is not the least bit unique to south Chicago, the fact that south Chicago is actually extraordinarily unique due to its 21st century geographical hot spot designation makes south Chicago quite remarkably capable of expanding Chicago's already highly respected schools of both architecture and engineering very much into the emerging field of micro urban agricultural development. To the point where education here as such education pertains to indoor gardening in general would make fertile ground for the development of a higher learning type educational environment as a result, combining not only agriculture and horticulture but indoor as well as outdoor landscape architectural and overall interior environmental living design would make this institution quite unique not only to Chicago but the entire mid west region.

Who is supposed to fund all of this dynamic infrastructure improvement in south Chicago?

The answer to this question is as I have said earlier, funding essentially comes from the same regulatory framework all such infrastructure improvements have always relied upon. The reason for this is simply that while a host of new energy technologies have clearly emerged that might suggest an alternative framework might be put in place that supports specific technologies over others and in fact such framework may very well be justifiable from a highly task specific regional mindset such as the ones I have described in south Chicago, all energy technologies are simply a part of the same grid that is supplying the same power for the same set of functions that have always required the use of that collective grid power to operate to begin with.

Thus in terms of such issues pertaining to the purchase of carbon credits and the overall reduction of emissions, the more diverse or inclusive the energy production model becomes for say a public electric utility provider the more flexibility that provider has to obtain its overall operational as well as environmental goal not to mention economic goal. The currently popular term and practice of “Impact investing” then, which is essentially a method for a relatively few entities to put together what might appear to be a sizable backing for an upstart company or partial environmental system that perhaps addresses a relatively small or short term infrastructure goal, and is of course not truly connected to other aspects of the overall infrastructure of say a town or a state, ultimately these types of investment vehicles run the substantial risk of loosing on that investment because such an integrated ideal or symbiotic industrial relationship is simply not a part of their long term financial perspective.

Putting this another way, as the inventor of the wheel may have considered roundness as being optimal over squareness, it is who that utilized that wheel to carry the freight more efficiently and in doing so integrated the wheel into the larger industrial chassis that clearly made the larger return in his round wheel inspired industrial idea, concept, investment and subsequent profit. In this case, as we are effectively closing in nationally on the overall ramifications of tremendous infrastructure redesign, my thought is such that I would rather have a portfolio of a multitude of different say, solar manufacturing company stocks all of which are fully integrated into the whole of a nationwide public utility grid with remarkably clear and dynamic understanding of regional utilization of a broad host of supporting energy technologies that are not solar than to be sitting on some isolated mountain and operating a rogue solar device when the sun's not shining.

Pension funds which are being viewed as harbingers of truly sizable dollar amounts in search of some form of long term financial sustainability due to the fact that such funds are rapidly running out of nationwide or worldwide industrial stores to shop in will simply disappear altogether if such multi-lateral infrastructure mapping is not undertaken and undertaken very soon, As the irony of these funds is the fact that for the most part they belong to the people who earned their living working from within an industrial model that was fully integrated and seamless with all aspects of historic regulatory policy, these funds are jumping off the deep end searching only for viable green energy investments as opposed to simply again demanding that government maintain, without real structural modification, the fundamental regulatory blueprint that has maintained our nation's industrial economy largely intact for the past two hundred years. As a again a certain amount of financial modification might very well be needed to address certain energy based investments, for the most part these investments will be in developing markets in developing nations. But again, with the micro-nature of so much technology in every infrastructure sector, the likelihood of one single energy technology saving an African village from economic collapse per se, and/or subsequent political upheaval is remarkably altered when in fact a collection of packaged utilities would be much more beneficial to that village.

As far as Stephanie's limited labor minded husband is concerned and getting again back to the south Chicago Georgian project. The primary reason why her husband has developed the mindset he has developed is terribly and frighteningly simple, at 34 years of age, this guy has simply never lived in an America that had a thriving and dynamic multi-dimensional industrial labor force attached to. He has virtually no sense of industrial reference to point to for the role modeling and male industrial mentoring our nation's previous industrial eras more or less took for granted because the collective insight of community participation was simply made available to all.

As such, the conversation of labor participation as it quite perversely is being defined by a slightly older generation that itself knows little to nothing at all about going to work paving a road or putting a roof on a house, or, in fact living with the realization that someone if not everyone in America needs to actually put money forth to continue to maintain the road, yes this generation headed up by people such as Barack Obama and who walk around with earphones as opposed to keeping an emergency can of road salt and a spare shovel in the back of their car in case of foul weather associated with such environmental realities as snow, these people have again concluded that the model of infrastructure they need to operate from is embedded in their I Phone and not actually the surface beneath their feet.

In fact, as the entire model for the full industrial and economic development of every green energy technology is in fact also embedded in I Phone, or embedded to a large extent on computer models, defining the labor force, and much more importantly, defining the rate of labor needed to actually install this technology into our whole industrial infrastructure has more or less been determined by people who sleep in, don't actually ever leave their homes to drive on the roads in America that are falling apart or realize anything even remotely associated with the multi- layered and labor intensive construction steps require to actually repave even the fifty feet of sidewalk in front of their home that they never shovel to begin with for presumably a fear of being exposed to high levels of deadly nuclear radiation coming from the earth via global warming taking place on the sidewalk in front of their home.

Humor aside, and, as the conversation of Labor Rate Participation is affecting everything from earning enough money to pay the gas bill every month to determining what set of complex economic variables will lead to our nation's final reversal of Quantitative Easing of the Federal Reserve's monetary policy, the whole potential dynamic nature of all of our nation's emerging energy technology sectors is, in quite the unique manner, enabling all of us to simply take a breather from the innate concept of constantly increasing wages to the much more rational and calm thought process of collectively deciding what it is we as Americans actually need to make a living in a whole mixed energy use 21st century economy that is at least, and, for the moment, devoid of the cut throat and breakneck confrontational dialog of wage equality that has plagued our nation for the greater part of the last forty years.

As the concept of establishing a base wage is being discussed quite substantially on Capitol Hill and in the board rooms of corporations throughout America, as that discussion politically is being presented as establishing a $15.00 per hour minimum wage, the gist of the question is this, how does America weave all of these new technologies into its industrial marketplace without substantial economic disruption of the marketplace resulting in the process of doing so?

The answer is to simply get the government back to the basic point of regulation that enabled not a guaranteed hourly wage to be established to begin with, but, to instead anchor through truly substantive and understandable regulatory policy, which was essentially bench marked in fundamental common sense to leave broad based industrial growth to the industries that in fact were creating that broad based industrial growth to begin with. As the federal government today has created such an enormous network of clearly pointless social programs over the course of the past forty years that it cannot possibly be charged with the formulation of truly objective labor rate setting at all today, all then that it can do, is to establish the rate of such things as public utility rate hikes, the price of water bills, the tax on motor vehicles that utilize our public roadways and so on and all of which have to do with the upkeep of the public utility infrastructure and not the upkeep of the individual who utilizes the benefits of that public infrastructure.

Within the context of creating a job for Stephanie's bewildered husband then is the criteria of establishing city or state wide or nationwide building codes that are designed to both inform the homeowner and the builder about changes required by the municipality as such changes reflect new and updated technology standards pertaining to any and all public utility systems attached to any structure; while in turn defining the retail, distribution, wholesale and manufacturing environments such technologies must occupy in order to do business in neighborhood based commercial or industrial real estate markets zoned accordingly; parameters from which both manufacturers and retailers can and must sell their product to the licensed contractor who will ultimately be responsible for the initial installation, long term maintenance and subsequent education of both his employees and customers as to the whole long term maintenance as well as full recycling of the materials associated with the overall life cycle of said technology or product. In turn, through the establishment of such comprehensive building codes, entirely new business sectors pertaining to the installation of a broad host of new technology products will enable the building contractor to not only substantially diversify the skill sets already established within his particular construction sector but to as well, give each of his employees in each of these now truly multidimensional building trade sectors as well as the homeowner a full and comprehensive exposure via seminars or on site technology demonstrations the whole and substantial functions not only of one technology system, but in turn how that system interacts with others within the architectural footprint of that homeowners dwelling.

The point here is simple, if in fact we are to create an environment in which the building trades are capable, and, in fact are essential for the integration of a host of public utility technologies, government must first establish the regulatory structure that will enable all aspects of the building trades to absolutely do so. Whereas the Obama administration seems to think that by simply raising the minimum wage to a certain hourly figure will, in an I Phone or a lap top frame of mind will some how be able to be calculated out as some abstract measure of overall nationwide economic momentum if in fact that minimum wage was raised, without the substantial inoculation of a broad host of regulatory redesigns, that wage will essential be as long lasting as either his “Cash For Clunkers” program or the collapse of Solyndra after the inoculation of some $550,000,000.00 of entirely wasted tax payer money his administration quite blindly authorized.

American industry runs itself. It always has and it always will. As again Obama's legacy will most assuredly be defined by the regularly scheduled litany of either mass shootings and killings, white cop black kid shootings, black lives matter rallies, the rights of women to abort pregnancies, the rights of homosexuals to get married in our good old US of A today, the fact that every time an American military veteran calls a VA Hospital anywhere in America, the first recorded message he or she hears is regarding whether or not they might feel like harming themselves or someone else?

What a waste of precious American time and potential.
